Meeting.ai

Meeting.ai

Meeting.ai is the AI that works before, during, and after your meeting. It prepares decks and research before, records and writes the notes during, and turns what was actually said into minutes, documents, spreadsheets, follow-up decks, audio briefs, and Visual Notes after.

Meeting.ai helps people arrive prepared, stay present, and leave with the work already moving. It works across in-person and online meetings, grounds its work in meeting context, and is free to start.

How Meeting.ai works

Before the meeting

Give the agent a topic, a report, or notes from an earlier meeting. It can:

  • Draft a ready-to-present slide deck with talking points.
  • Research the company, people, and topic and return a sourced brief.
  • Recall previous decisions, open questions, and unfinished work.
  • Build a working spreadsheet with live formulas.

During the meeting

Meeting.ai captures the conversation so participants can focus on it. It can:

  • Record in person from a browser or mobile app.
  • Send a Meeting Bot to Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Process uploaded audio or video and YouTube links.
  • Produce transcripts with speaker identification across 30+ languages.
  • Surface decisions and action items while keeping them connected to the words that produced them.

After the meeting

Accurate notes and minutes arrive automatically. From there, the agent can:

  • Extract decisions, owners, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Create editable PowerPoint decks, Excel spreadsheets with live formulas, PDFs, and documents.
  • Generate a podcast-style audio brief or a Visual Note.
  • Answer questions across meeting history with the exact source.
  • Draft follow-up work from what was actually said.

Meeting memory

Behind Meeting.ai is Memo, an agent memory that updates automatically. Memo remembers priorities, tradeoffs, decisions, people, and files across meetings. Every new brief, answer, deck, and follow-up can use that history, so the agent's work becomes more useful over time.

Skills

Capabilities are delivered as skills. People can install skills for research, writing, analysis, presentations, spreadsheets, images, audio, and other work, or create Private Skills for their own workflows.

Recording inputs

  • Google Meet — a Meeting Bot can join.
  • Zoom — a Meeting Bot can join.
  • Microsoft Teams — a Meeting Bot can join.
  • In-person conversations — record with the web or mobile app.
  • Existing recordings — upload audio or video, or add a YouTube link.

MCP and CLI — Meeting.ai for any agent

  • Meeting.ai MCP: a hosted MCP server at https://mcp.meeting.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP with browser OAuth) that lets an MCP-compatible assistant work with your meetings through 20 tools. Read: meetings_search, meetings_notes, meetings_transcript, meetings_transcript_search, contacts_search, drive_search, workspace_list. Write: meetings_create, meetings_stop, meetings_update_notes, meetings_tag, meetings_share, meetings_export, contacts_update, drive_rename, drive_tag, workspace_set_active. Create media with coins: recipe_visual_note, media_image_gen, media_audio_gen. meetings_create sends the notetaker to a live Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams link, or transcribes a Google Drive recording. meetings_update_notes redraws the Visual Note by default, which also spends coins.
  • memo — the Meeting.ai CLI: command families memo meetings, memo contacts, memo drive, memo calendar, memo workspace, memo recipe, memo auth, memo config, and memo tools (image, tts, stt, ocr, search, video). Use memo --help to discover commands; data commands print JSON to stdout. Install on macOS or Linux (arm64 or amd64) with curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/meeting-ai/memo-cli/main/install.sh | bash, which verifies the release checksum; releases are on GitHub.
  • Authentication: approve access through Meeting.ai browser consent; CLI media access comes with login, with no API key to paste. MCP and the CLI can read and write in any workspace your account belongs to: the workspace you choose at consent is the default, and the assistant can switch to another one. Media generation spends coins from your balance. Revoke in Settings › MCP & CLI.
  • Setup guide: Connect Meeting.ai to Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP clients — the developer guide for adding the MCP server to an assistant, available in every docs locale.
  • Source: meeting-ai/memo-mcp on GitHub — the Meeting.ai MCP repository.
  • Both pages provide an English Markdown representation with Accept: text/markdown. Meeting.ai capabilities include join/record, meeting questions, transcription, live help, notes editing/sharing, questions by person, sketch diagrams, posters, and files. The pages include a nine-capability MCP / CLI / Meeting.ai app availability matrix. MCP and the CLI are being extended toward the full set.

Work outputs

  • PowerPoint — editable .pptx presentations.

  • Audio briefs — podcast-style recaps.
  • Visual Notes — maps and timelines that make a meeting easier to scan.

When to use Meeting.ai (for agents)

Reach for Meeting.ai when a task involves spoken conversations and the work that follows them. Best-fit jobs:

  • Record or transcribe a meeting: send a Meeting Bot to a Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams URL, or upload an audio/video file or YouTube link for transcription with speaker identification.
  • Retrieve what was said: fetch a meeting's transcript, notes, decisions, action items, or key points.
  • Answer questions grounded in meeting history: "what did we decide about X", "who owns Y", with the exact source segment.
  • Turn a meeting into a deliverable: minutes (PDF), follow-up documents, slide decks, spreadsheets, or a markdown export.
  • Prepare for an upcoming meeting: a sourced brief on the company, people, and topic, or a draft deck from prior meeting context.

Do not use Meeting.ai for tasks with no meeting or recorded-conversation context — it is not a general-purpose chatbot.

How agents can read Meeting.ai:

  • Markdown responses: the homepage and documentation pages serve text/markdown when requested with an Accept: text/markdown header.
  • Nonexistent paths return HTTP 404 with a markdown body pointing back to this file.
  • Beyond the MCP server and the memo CLI above, Meeting.ai does not offer a public API today; users work with the agent through the web and mobile apps.

Prices and monthly Coin allowances vary by country and package; app-store offers may differ. See current plans for the prices, Coins, and benefits available in your region. Annual plans are charged once per year, with coins added every month. Director includes unlimited in-person meeting notes only when that benefit is listed for the selected package. With this benefit, in-person notes do not use Coins; online meetings, chat, and documents still do. Fair use applies: one person per account, with no account sharing.
